Prem Industries

Prem Industries, a full-service, rapidly expanding provider of precision injection molds and contract manufacturing services, is the brainchild of Mr. R Vethanayagam, a tool room technocrat turned entrepreneur. A self-made man with a vision to create employment opportunities, Mr. Vethanayagam translated his ambition into reality by establishing Prem Industries as a contract manufacturer. Starting small with limited capital, the company initially served customers within the former princely state of Mysore.

Having established a reputation for dedicated quality and reliable service, the need for an in-house molding facility became apparent. Consequently, Prem Industries' own complete tool room and injection molding plant commenced operations in 1999. The company's success was immediately evident. That same year, Prem Industries designed, built, and successfully tested its first gear mold for a printer on the first attempt. This achievement set the company's momentum, and it has continued to progress steadily ever since.

Prem Industries has experienced consistent growth, expanding its facilities year after year. Leveraging its acquired expertise, service capabilities, and capacity to meet the demands of a competitive market, Prem Industries embarked on a significant expansion program to maintain its position in the industry. In 2005, the first unit, featuring a built-in shop floor space of 25,000 square feet and a state-of-the-art molding facility, was dedicated to serving customers. Continuing at the same impressive pace, the second unit, encompassing a built-in shop floor area of 20,000 square feet, became operational in July 2010.
