      ApexFill™ Advanced Dental Restorative System

      Overview

ApexFill™ represents the pinnacle of modern dental restorative solutions, designed to deliver exceptional aesthetics, superior durability, and reliable clinical performance. Our comprehensive range of dental filling materials empowers practitioners to achieve natural-looking, long-lasting restorations that prioritize patient comfort and oral health. Engineered with advanced material science, ApexFill™ products are formulated for optimal handling, predictable outcomes, and seamless integration with natural tooth structure.

      Key Features & Benefits

      • Natural Aesthetics: Available in a wide spectrum of VITA® classical shades, ApexFill™ materials blend seamlessly with natural dentition, ensuring highly esthetic and virtually undetectable restorations.
      • Superior Strength & Wear Resistance: Engineered with advanced filler technology, our materials offer exceptional compressive and flexural strength, resisting occlusal forces and maintaining anatomical form over time.
      • Exceptional Adhesion: Formulated for reliable chemical and/or micromechanical bonding to tooth structure, minimizing marginal leakage and enhancing restoration longevity.
      • User-Friendly Handling: Non-sticky consistency, excellent sculptability, and optimal working time facilitate precise placement and anatomical contouring, streamlining clinical procedures.
      • Optimized Radiopacity: Ensures clear visibility on radiographs, allowing for easy detection of secondary caries, marginal discrepancies, or other post-operative assessments.
      • Patient-Friendly Biocompatibility: Manufactured from high-quality, biocompatible components, minimizing the risk of post-operative sensitivity or allergic reactions.
      • Reduced Polymerization Shrinkage (for Composites): Minimized stress on the tooth-restoration interface, reducing the risk of marginal gaps and post-operative sensitivity.
      • Fluoride Release (for Glass Ionomers): Provides therapeutic benefits by actively releasing fluoride ions, promoting remineralization and inhibiting secondary caries formation.

      Types Available

      1. ApexFill™ Composite Resin Restorative (Light-Cured)

Our state-of-the-art composite resin is ideal for aesthetic anterior and posterior restorations, combining advanced technology with user-friendly application.

      • Material Composition: Bis-GMA, UDMA, TEGDMA resin matrix with inorganic fillers (e.g., barium glass, zirconia, silica) in varying particle sizes (microhybrid/nanohybrid).
      • Aesthetics: High polishability and chameleon effect ensure excellent mimicry of natural tooth structure.
      • Strength: High filler load provides superior strength and wear resistance for stress-bearing areas.
      • Bonding: Requires a dental adhesive system (etch-and-rinse or self-etch) for optimal micromechanical retention.
      • Applications:
        • Direct anterior and posterior restorations (Classes I, II, III, IV, V)
        • Core build-ups
        • Splinting
        • Indirect restorations (inlays, onlays, veneers)
        • Diastema closures
      • Shade Selection: Comprehensive range of VITA® classical shades, including opaque and translucent options for advanced layering techniques.

      2. ApexFill™ Glass Ionomer Restorative (Self-Cured/Light-Cured Hybrid)

Offering chemical adhesion and fluoride release, our glass ionomer cement is a versatile material for various applications, particularly in situations requiring therapeutic benefits and moisture tolerance.

      • Material Composition: Fluoroaluminosilicate glass powder and polyacrylic acid liquid (or resin-modified GIC with HEMA/other monomers for light-cure versions).
      • Aesthetics: Good, but generally less translucent than composite; suitable for non-esthetic or less visible areas.
      • Strength: Moderate compressive strength; suitable for non-stress bearing areas, temporary restorations, or as a base/liner.
      • Bonding: True chemical bond to tooth structure (enamel and dentin) without a separate bonding agent.
      • Applications:
        • Restorations in non-stress bearing areas (Class III, V)
        • Temporary restorations
        • Lining and basing under composite or amalgam restorations
        • Core build-ups (especially Resin-Modified GICs)
        • Pediatric restorations
        • Geriatric restorations
        • Fissure sealants (especially Resin-Modified GICs)
        • ART (Atraumatic Restorative Treatment)
      • Fluoride Release: Sustained fluoride release to prevent secondary caries.
