Description
Advanced Automatic Main Failure (AMF) Panel
Ensuring Uninterrupted Power for Critical Operations
In today's interconnected world, power outages are more than an inconvenience – they can lead to significant financial losses, data corruption, safety hazards, and operational disruptions. Our state-of-the-art Automatic Main Failure (AMF) Panel is engineered to be the guardian of your power supply, providing a reliable and seamless transition to backup power the moment your main grid fails.
Designed for unparalleled reliability and ease of use, our AMF Panel automatically detects disruptions in the primary power source, initiates your standby generator, and transfers the electrical load without manual intervention. When grid power is restored, it seamlessly switches back and shuts down the generator, ensuring your operations remain continuous and protected.
Key Features:
- Intelligent Grid Monitoring: Continuously monitors the incoming main power supply for voltage fluctuations, phase loss, under/over voltage, and complete power failure.
- Automatic Generator Start/Stop: Upon detecting a main power failure, the panel automatically sends a start signal to your standby generator. Once main power is restored and stable, it initiates a controlled shutdown of the generator.
- Integrated Automatic Transfer Switch (ATS) Control: Manages the switching of the electrical load between the main grid and the generator, ensuring a safe and swift transfer.
- Configurable Timers: Adjustable parameters for:
- Mains Failure Detection Delay: Prevents false starts during momentary fluctuations.
- Generator Start Delay: Allows the generator to stabilize before taking the load.
- Load Transfer Delay: Ensures stability before transferring.
- Mains Return Delay: Verifies grid stability before switching back.
- Generator Cool-down Timer: Extends generator lifespan by allowing it to run unloaded before shutting down.
- Comprehensive Protection:
- Overload and Short Circuit Protection
- Over/Under Voltage Protection (for both grid and generator)
- Over/Under Frequency Protection
- Phase Sequence and Phase Failure Protection
- Engine Protection (High temp, low oil pressure – via generator controller)
- User-Friendly Interface:
- Clear LED indicators for Power ON, Mains Available, Generator Running, Load on Mains/Gen, and various fault conditions.
- Optional LCD/HMI display for detailed status, parameter settings, and historical event logs.
- Intuitive push buttons for manual/auto mode selection, test run, reset, and emergency stop.
- Integrated Battery Charger: Maintains the generator's starter battery in optimal condition, ensuring reliable starting.
- Robust & Durable Enclosure: Housed in a sturdy, weather-resistant (e.g., IP54/IP65 rated) industrial-grade enclosure for indoor or outdoor installations.
- Advanced Microprocessor Control: Ensures precise, reliable, and intelligent control over the entire power transfer process.
- Emergency Stop Button: For immediate and safe shutdown of the entire system.
- Test Mode: Allows for simulated power failure testing without disrupting the main supply, ensuring system readiness.
Benefits:
- Uninterrupted Operations: Eliminates costly downtime due to power outages, safeguarding your business continuity.
- Automated Reliability: Ensures seamless power transfer without human intervention, reducing the risk of errors and enhancing response time.
- Enhanced Safety: Prevents hazardous manual switching operations and ensures proper interlocking between main and generator power.
- Extended Equipment Lifespan: Controlled starts, stops, and load transfers minimize stress on both the generator and connected equipment.
- Operational Efficiency: Frees up personnel from monitoring power status, allowing them to focus on core tasks.
- Peace of Mind: Provides confidence that your critical systems will remain operational regardless of grid stability.
- Compliance: Designed to meet relevant electrical safety and performance standards.
How It Works:
- Normal Operation: The AMF Panel continuously monitors the main power supply. The load is powered by the main grid.
- Mains Failure: If the main power fails or falls outside set parameters, the panel waits for a pre-set delay.
- Generator Start: After the delay, the panel sends a signal to start the standby generator.
- Load Transfer: Once the generator reaches stable voltage and frequency, the panel commands the ATS to transfer the load from the (failed) mains to the generator.
- Mains Restoration: When the main power returns and remains stable for a pre-set period, the panel initiates the switch-back process.
- Load Re-transfer: The panel commands the ATS to transfer the load back to the main power supply.
- Generator Cool-down & Stop: The generator runs for a pre-set cool-down period without load, then receives a signal to shut down.
- Ready for Next Cycle: The system returns to standby mode, continuously monitoring the main power.
Ideal Applications:
- Data Centers & Server Rooms: Ensuring critical data and connectivity remain online.
- Hospitals & Healthcare Facilities: Maintaining essential life support and medical equipment operation.
- Manufacturing & Industrial Plants: Preventing production losses and equipment damage.
- Commercial Buildings & Offices: Keeping businesses running smoothly.
- Telecommunication Centers: Ensuring continuous communication networks.
- Retail & Supermarkets: Protecting perishable goods and point-of-sale systems.
- Critical Residential Loads: For homes with specific needs for uninterrupted power.
